Creating our future

Creating our future

Think about our future – for both REALTORS® and for organized real estate.

To survive and prosper “all levels of organized real estate must work together in a collaborative manner to create our future,” according to Gary Morse, CREA President

What can we do to continue to create value for property buyers and sellers?

At a futures session in Toronto on October 24, CREA proposed four strategic areas:

  1. The development of a technology platform, providing information and tools for REALTORS® and property buyers and sellers;
  2. Professional development within organized real estate to increase value to property buyers and sellers;
  3. Significantly restructuring of governance to expedite decision-making and reduce duplication and cost;
  4. Gathering consumer intelligence so organized real estate can understand changing consumer needs and improve relationships with consumers.
