Andrew R. Peck

Leader, mentor, coach, advocate, policy wonk and friend are how his colleagues, students, and sales team describe Andrew Peck.

And now, once again, they're also calling him President - this time, of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), one of Canada’s largest single industry Associations, with 120,000+ REALTOR® members.

Previously Andrew served as a vice-president CREA, as a CREA director for seven years, as president of BC Real Estate Association (2007), and as president of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (2004).

During and in between, he served on countless task forces and committees, and while a director of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, he helped establish the Board's government relations department. There he successfully lobbied for changes to the Property Transfer Tax including an expanded definition of first-time buyer, changes to the Home Owner Grant, and changes to zoning to allow sustainable density in the form of smaller lots and coach homes.

A fourth-generation British Columbian, Andrew started his career in real estate in 1983 by knocking on neighbourhood doors in Vancouver for listings. By 1987, he had become a managing broker. In 1996, he merged several companies to form Royal Pacific Realty Group which serves the Metro Vancouver area.

Andrew is the broker owner, vice-president and general manager of Royal Pacific Realty Group, overseeing 1,200+ licensed REALTORS® and a staff of 30.

Andrew regularly helps Boards with progressive governance, teaches leadership courses for CREA and guides young professionals.

He's a former piper with the SFU Pipe Band, an avid boater and a hobby chef, known for his hilarious sense of humour.
